Unlike traditional flat irons, it has no heat plates, making it a gentler alternative for smooth, healthy-looking hair.

Air straightener vs flat iron - which one is better?

Traditional flat irons have heated plates that apply direct heat up to 232°C and require blow-drying first, adding unnecessary heat and time. The Malibee 2-in-1 Air Straightener uses advanced air technology, blowing air at a 45-degree angle with adjustable heat up to 140°C. It dries and straightens in one step, reducing damage and saving time for smooth, healthy hair!

Is the 2-in-1 straightener suitable for all hair types?

The Malibee Sleek Air Straightener is designed for straight, wavy, and most curly hair. Explore our gallery to see results on various hair types. It is not recommended for extremely coily hair. Individual results may vary, so always use heat protection and follow the usage instructions for best results.

Can I use the Malibee Sleek Air Straightener on wet hair?

Yes! This tool is designed to work on both wet and dry hair, allowing for quick styling without the need for a separate blow dryer.

What heat settings does it have?

The straightener offers precise heat control for consistent, even heating, reducing the risk of overheating and damage. It features heat settings of 80°C, 120°C, and 140°C, along with a cool shot option.

Will it damage my hair?

No! With Sleek Air Technology, the Malibee Straightener reduces heat exposure by replacing extreme heat plates with precision heat control at a 45-degree tilt. This innovative design allows airflow to straighten and dry hair simultaneously, helping to preserve shine and smoothness while minimising damage. For best results, we recommend using a heat protectant, as there is still some air heat, but it’s significantly lower than traditional flat irons that use direct heat from plates.

Can I use my Malibee Air Straightener overseas?

The Malibee Air Straightener has been safety tested and designed specifically for use in Australia and New Zealand, where the voltage is 230V.

Using it in countries with a different voltage can cause damage to the tool or even pose a safety risk - even with a travel adapter. For this reason, we don’t recommend using the Malibee Air outside of AU/NZ unless you have a proper voltage converter (not just a plug adapter), and even then, it's at your own risk.
